Course Objectives (Hand part) 
 
●Review the pathophysiology of common extensor tendon injuries
●Describe the presentation of common extensor tendon injuries, such as but not limited to radial styloid tenosynovitis, intersection syndrome, and mallet finger
●Summarize the treatment of common extensor tendon injuries, such as but not limited to boutonniere deformity, mallet finger, and swan’s neck deformity
●Demonstrate orthotic fabrication for mallet finger and EDC subluxation
●Demonstrate specific manual therapy techniques to address issues with the extensor mechanisms of the finger
●Develop a plan of care to address issues relating to the extensor mechanisms of the finger
